Windsurfing: Overcombe Wind Direction: west Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: large chop Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered:
got on at 10.30am,rigged the 5.0 & took the big board(103lt) as i was the
only one there. After 2 runs trying to keep the nose down & drive off the
fin cause well overpowered, got the wave board out, could have changed down
to 4.2 but just wanted to sail & not keep messing with kit.Had an excellent
hour & a half with stupidly fast gybes including duck & some quite laid
down ones on the inside. The wind swung a little onshore from slightly off
which suddenly generated some swell to ride.Got off for 10mins to ring
Johno at Marizion who said there was no wind there? mmm had plenty here.Got
back on but the wind had started to drop, went back to the flow which now
felt like a plank, had another hour on that before the wind totally dropped
off.another good day.
